Through research projects with the federal government, Maryn Consulting is
committed to improving highway and vehicle safety. Over the last several years,
Maryn has been involved with a number of research and support related to highway
and vehicle safety. Through these projects, Maryn has developed a strong
understanding of a number of transportation safety issues. Maryn has conducted
in-depth analysis of DUI offender behaviors, studied successful community-based
DUI programs, evaluated vehicular pursuit termination technologies available to
law enforcement, analyzed trends in automobile theft rates, explored best
practices in EMS child transport, and researched State laws related to traffic
safety. |
Maryn has expertise in a wide array of justice related areas. Maryn provides
high quality services involving criminal and juvenile justice research studies,
systems analyses, policy and procedure development, data collection and
analysis, program assessments, case studies, training and technical assistance,
and program development and implementation for local, state, federal and private
sector clients. Maryn’s justice related areas of expertise include law
enforcement, juvenile justice, prisoner re-entry, corrections, courts, treatment
and rehabilitative services, and community-based services. |
Maryn has a strong understanding of human services issues, including community
development, social services and child welfare. During the past five years Maryn
staff have been involved in a number of human services projects relating to
youth and families, as well as substance abuse programming and community
outreach. Our consultants have worked with a local human services department to
improve the services provided by their community outreach office, studied local
substance abuse programs across the country, supported information technology
services for a state child welfare agency, and examined safe child transport
issues.
